Various brewhouse musings

Hey all I dropped by the brewhouse to transfer some beers and had a few things to share.

I dropped off a new(gently used) mash tun at the brewhouse. It's labeled with a brew organic sticker. The false bottom needs replaced with something better but it's still a relatively new cooler and with a better false bottom could be utilized by the club.

I also dropped off some growlers and howlers and placed them on the lager primary fridge. If anyone wants them they can take them otherwise I'm going to recycle them at end of week.

Speaking of growlers, I used one of them to replace an overflowing carboy in the ferm room. I didn't write down whose it was(maybe Chuck?) but it was a vanilla darling overflowing out of a mason jar for blow-off. I replaced with growler of star san and cleaned up what I could.

The new lagering fridge has a suspicious amount of occupants in it for the amount of beers on the lagering fridge spreadsheet. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but I reserved bay C1 which was the left door side and both levels were completely full on the left. There was room in the middle door after I moved some stuff around but I feel like no one is properly reserving and using the space. I'm gonna leave it there in the middle, I hope that's OK.

Finally the trash was brimming when I got there, which may have been leftover from the membership meeting and since i was on schedule at brewhouse post meeting it wasn't taken out, but just a friendly reminder given the rodent problem, to take out the trash. Otherwise we are inviting Mr. Jingles and his family to a free meal.

I think that's it. Mike and Rob, delicious beers on tap.

Thanks for all of that, Jay.

Thanks for all of that, Jay. I believe I have 3 in the lager fridge and have not checked out the reservation system. I will check mine in.
