Hello, everyone,
It's that time of year again!  We are now launching the 4th Annual Beer Hoptacular Homebrew Club Challenge.  If you/your club wants to participate again this year, it's important that you respond promptly to this email.  Here's what you have to do:
1). Reply positively to this email that you/your club wants to participate again -ASAP.  NOTE: There are 21 clubs included in this email and there are only 20 grain kits being shipped out.  That means that the last club to respond will not receive a grain kit.
2). Supply the name, email address and the postal address of the person in your club who will be brewing the beer.  Grain kits --with additional instructions-- will be shipped this coming Friday (8/30).
Just to stave off the inevitable questions, here's all you need to know at this time- the beer "style" this year is a S.M.A.S.H. beer; that stands for "Single Malt And Single Hop".  Actual grains and additional instructions will be included in your grain kit.
This year's edition of Beer Hoptacular will be on Friday, 11/8, and Saturday, 11/9, with the judging of these beers taking place on Saturday morning (as always, the winners will be announced during the afternoon session of BH). The deadline for submitting beers will be Thursday, 11/7.  Only six bottles will be required for entry this year.
