I was thinking that it is probably a good thing to plan two classes in November/Early December that our Trail Members can take advantage of to learn how to brew and/or make the transition to all grain.
Any volunteers on teaching these two classes?!?
I would love to teach one, but the only way I can convince my wife to do it is if I can get a person or two to lend me a hand building on my house on a Saturday or Sunday. So if there are people willing to do that....
Depending on what day of the week and what time I can assist. Friday nights and Saturday would work best.

Have we hosted classes on the weekend? For some reason I remember Dave hosting a class during the week.
I believe that was an intro to brewing with extract, which takes much less time. I odnt see how to do an all grain class in less than 6 hours.
I'm in for assisting with an all grain class.
I would like to take the all-grains class. I've taken a brief intro class at BrewCamp, but haven't made the switch yet from Extract. Looking forward to this!
Jeff & Bill...how does Saturday Dec. 7th look for you guys for an All-Grain Class?
I am gong to schedule an Intro with Extract on Wednesday, November 13th.
The 12/07 works for me. just don't ask me to name the beer. LOL

It depends on the time. We have the Nielsen-Massey competition in the morning.
Oh damn I forgot about that

Well, the judging is going to be at Derby, not the brew house. I meant just for my availability.
I'd also love to take an intro to all grain class. We were thinking about tackling it this weekend at home, but got nervous and went with some extract.
I'd be willing to teach, do we have a set curricullum, or is it more of a kinda show and tell experience, talking people through a brew, explaining concepts and equipment etc. ? I just scheduled some time on sunday the 17th, I'd be willing to use that as a teaching experience.
