I was at a IT/hacker conference this weekend and talking with a few guys who are have been looking at using some currently available board designs to build some an open source brew controller. Additionally, hack-a-day featured an arduino controlled brewery brewery a few days ago (http://hackaday.com/2012/04/19/automated-beer-brewing/) and could be a good start for Arduino sketches and designs.
Anyway, I'm curious if anyone else has looked at doing this or would be interested in helping me kick a project like this off.
I've been working on an electric system. I would love to use Arduino...instead of a PID. I can handle to the materials and assembly. It's the programing and interface that I'm lacking in.
Here are some simple diagrams of what I have been working on, attached.
