Last night I was talking to Dave Williams about stir plates and he asked me to share my source for stir-plates. Its based on the DIY design, but this guy is a electrical engineer and makes them.
I love DIY and was going to make one...but after I added up parts it came out to the same as buying one from this guy. Plus the time involved...
I have no affiliation with him...just that I bought one a year ago and it works great..I also bought the 2000ml flask from him as well...
I think preparing the proper starter for your lager or ale is one of the most important steps in brewing...
Btw, we have a small stir plate that will be at the new space. Its great for yeast starters...
