I'm looking to create this for the Cerveza de Mayo.
I was thinking of using between 8 - 10# of blueberries. 2-4# in primary then the remaing in secondary. Primary for 5-7 days then Secondary for 5-7 days and then keg.
Would appriciate any comments or suggestions

Looks great. Im not so sure about northern brewer though. It has a very distinct flavor. I would use something very clean for the bittering (magnum or horizon) and if your going to do a flavor addition (which you might not want to do as blueberry is a very "delicate" flavor) maybe try something floral. Not sure exactly what.... but keep it to 1/4 oz at knockout.
Also, make sure to sanatize the blueberries somehow. I made a very similar recipe once and it was the most infected beer I ever created.
This is with horizon hops.
I was planning on pasturizing the blueberries at about 180 for 15mins.

I would just add bittering hops at 60min. Blueberry flavor is pretty delicate, so adding flavor and aroma hops will mask it.
So I think this is going to be my final and brewed this Saturday.
