Hello all. My brewing buddy and I are looking to join and had a couple questions about the Brewhouse. We generally brew at my place in Uptown, but recently have a need to brew a bigger batch than we can handle with our setup. A friend of ours sent us a 15gal spent bourbon barrel. We have a 15gal kettle and a mash tun that maxes out @ 30lbs of grain, so we can brew 7.5gal of high gravity wort. We are hoping to join and use the brewhouse and brew 2 batches of an Imperial stout recipe in one day for the barrel. We would bring our equipment for one of the bays and use our mash tun for both batches. Is there a ~15gal kettle with a capable burner available? Can we keep the barrel in the barrel room as well? We would upgrade to brewer level membership. Thanks all. Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a huge brew day.

Yes we have 15 gallon kettles, 3 of them. We also have 10 gallon mash tuns and 2 Blichman burners and 2 regular "cajun" burners set up to run on natural gas... We also have a huge fermintation room that is temp controlled... When you sign up at Brewer Level you will have to brew 3 times with a existing Brewer Level member before getting full access to the space.
By full access, I mean just being able to come and go as you please 24/7...
Hi Marc, once you become a brewer level member, you can also keep barrels at the brew house; if there's room. We currently have space, so that shouldn't be a problem. i encourage you to stop by and check out the brew house. We're having an open house this afternoon. Otherwise, just check the calendar to see when someone will be brewing and they can show you around.
Thanks for the comments guys! I actually went on vacation this past week so I'm just seeing this now. Going to get the membership rolling!

We are all scheduled for 12/8 (sdoobs & wiescins), looking forward to meeting everyone who can make it. We are assuming it is ok to bring some homebrew to share.
