Alchemist Applications

CHAOS members,

CHAOS was founded by a group of enthusiastic homebrewers who wanted to share knowledge, equipment and space in the pursuit of better beer. Creating and maintaining this vision take a tremendous amount of work. Alchemist is the term given to recognize our members who make significant contributions to our club.

ALCHEMIST REQUIREMENTS

In January of each year, those seeking Alchemist status present their qualifications/accomplishments for Alchemist Status to the board for approval. Approval of Alchemist status by the board will occur in February. Current Alchimests my re-apply each year.

The benefits of earning Alchemist status:

• (a) one free storage spot in the brewhouse;
• (b) "CHAOS Alchemist" work shirt upon becoming an Alchemist (not every year);
• (c) you may bring one guest to the seasonal events for free (guest should sign up as a web-member);

In order to obtain "Alchemist Status" you must:

• (a) be a Friend-, Apprentice-, or Brewer-level member for at least one year;
• (b) brew for brewhouse keezer or parties at least twice per year;
• (c) host a Class, Workshop, Hoppy Hour, Open House (or other equivalent event of your design) at least twice per year;
• (d) help with at least 2 out of the 4 seasonal events per year;
• (e) help build and maintain the brewhouse
• (f) Any of these requirements may be waived by the board in recognition of some other service to the club.

In order to retain "Alchemist Status" all of the requirements must be fulfilled annually. Please only list your contributions for the last 12 months.

ALCHEMIST "APPLICATION"

If you would like to be consider for Alchemist status please go here (http://www.chaosbrewclub.net/node/add/alchemist-application) and list your qualifications. Most members will not be able to fulfill all the requirements, however if you have gone above any beyond in a couple categories you may still be a qualified candidate. 

Applications are due by January 19, 2014
