Hi, all! Mark, our treasurer, got me a quote for a banner for our billboard in back facing the metra. I'm wondering if someone even minimally graphics-design/layout-savvy could help me desing it.
In minimum wordage and maximum visibility we have to convey that people can brew their own beer there and a way to find us. So, I'm thinking something super simple like: "Brew Homebrew Here! / www.CHAOSBrewClub.net" ("homebrew" as opposed to "beer" is intentional as well as the caps on the website so people can more easliy make out our name as well as have the website all in one). One idea was to reserve approx. 1/3 of that 8' lenght for a local brewery/bar to provide their own signage to give them some advertising and as a kind of testimonial for our club.
Any/all help is greatly appreciated!
Graphics-design details:
Size: 8' x 2.5' (full bleed size is 95.75" x 30.20"; 4788 x 1510 pixels)
Formats: *.pdf, *.ai, *.psd
Sort-of-related: I wonder if it would make sense to try to a shorter domain name for signs like this, to redirect to chaosbrewclub.net. I'm thinking something that will be short and memorable. .beer domains will come available in late September (though they're pricier than regular domains): it would be pretty cool to have http://chaos.beer printed on signs and stuff.
I think that would indeed be cool! Question is: do we (a) want to wait until September and (b) pay.
How much would it cost? Alternately, do we get only a single domain/URL with our current "plan"? i.e., could we create/have CHAOSbeer.net (or CBCbeer.net, &.c) for the same price we're paying now?
