Keg Question

Hey guys, I was just donated a Firestone Challenger VI keg from a buddy of mine. It seems pretty functional, but I can't get a standard sized gas dip tube to fit. Anyone have any experience with these kegs that can offer some advice?

I own one of the same kegs.

I own one of the same kegs.

I recently had the same problem where I tossed the gas tube thinking "I'll replace this old busted plastic dip tube with a new stainless one". Boy was that a mistake!

Anywhoo, you want this product:

I believe the company does flat rate shipping so I would heavily suggest ordering a larger quantity of keg parts while you're at it to make the shipipng worth your while. Last time I ended up paying a little under $25 all-in for a new gas post and 5 sets of replacement o-rings shipped.

As a follow up note. I

As a follow up note. I believe that the part does not ship with the proper o-ring, which is different from the o-rings you get in a typical keg replacement kit.

Brew and Grow sells the proper Firestone size o-rings for like 30 cents. You may or may not need a replacement one of those as well.
