Americo and I are cohosting this year and we've got some great stuff planned. We will need your help to achieve all of our goals. We need volunteers, raffle prizes and most importantly BEER! Additionally the Beer School poll has concluded. It was a very tight race and the winner was.....(drumroll)....History of Mexican Beer! I am going to update the Beer Signup sheet to contain the Beer School. I will throw 6 beers and Pulque on to the list and then allow people to volunteer for them. If you were planning on brewing a beer for the party already, why not brew a Beer School beer? Message me directly if you sign up on the volunteer sheets for the beer school and I will send you a recipe for the beer in question.
Hi Jay. I had a spot in the lager fridge reserved for a Helles Exportbier I was planning on brewing, but will use it instead for the German Pils, if that impacts the number of spaces you need to reserve. I've updated my reservation to note that its for the Cerveza School. I'll be brewing this afternoon. I'm not going to try to clone Bohemia (I would fail, I'm sure), I'm just going to try to brew a good German Pils.
The Cerveza School would be a cool opportunity to do something, a poster or flyer maybe, about German immigration to Mexico. Exploring history through beer culture. I'd like to take a stab at that, unless someone else was already planning to do that.

Great news! Yes the plan is I am going to do a big mock up on the history of beer in Mexico and have the people that are brewing the 6 clone beers write a paragraph or pass me some info on their specific beer so we have a bit to say about each beer. The ones I chose are all fairly older beers and should have some history/something interesting behind them. I was already planning to do the main part but if you want to as well we can compare notes and get the best info out there
