Urgent: Unsecured Grain in Storage Area

Over the past couple of weeks, I've received multiple complaints about unsecured grain in the upstairs storage area. The grain is either in sacks or in containers that are not secure; for example plastic sacks in boxes with no lids. Some of this stuff has been compromised, some hasn't. By compromised, I mean that something has gotten into your bag, eaten some contents, then shit all over the storage room.

We've worked to hard to get the brew house pest free and it would really suck to have that ruined by a few careless people, which it seems to be the road we're headed down.

I'm not going to name names, but those of you who are doing this, and it's more than one member, have until Tuesday to secure your grain and/or rice hulls. Anything not secured will be either thrown away or, if there's room, added to the club's grain supply and made available for purchase by club members. Also, I would expect that the people who have left their stuff unsecured will clean up the mess. I can't enforce that, but it would be the least you could do.

In the future anything edible that is left unsecured will be immediately disposed of or added to the club's supplies; if we can accomodate it.

Please don't send me a PM with excuses, apologies, or explanations. I'm super pissed about this and don't care. Just get it done.

To also piggy back on Jeff's

To also piggy back on Jeff's message.  Today is the last day to secure your grain.  I was there today and it looks like some of the grain has been secured.  However, there is still some that has not been secured properly.

If you were not at the Sunday meeting we also decided that everyone must be able to fit your belongings in your actual storage space.  NOTHING is allowed to be just stored on the floor.  If you are storing anything on the floor you will either need to rent a 2nd space or store it at home.  Anything stored on the floor falls under the same catagory of needing moved by today.

I noticed we have random buckets, a trailer that attaches to a bike, grain bins, random empty bottles, ect.  We have done such a great job as a club to make it a very clean space for everyone to enjoy recently.  Lets keep it that way.  As little things build up, we start to get a mass amount of clutter that shouldn't be in our storage space.  If you need another space reach out to Jeff or anyone on the board and we will assign you another storage spot.
