I’m administering a BJCP Tasting Exam in January 2019 and am holding some workshops to help exam-takers prepare for the exam. The first session will be held on Thursday September 13th at 7:30 pm at the CHAOS brewhouse. We will schedule three more sessions.
Any CHAOS members and friends are welcome to join us. In addition to folks preparing to take the exam, this will be a good workshop for those who want to learn more about intentionally tasting beer and the elements of beer styles.
There is no fee for the workshops, attendees will split the actual expenses (beer and printing).
We will focus on three items: 1) sensory evaluation, 2) articulating what you perceive, and 3) styles. Please send me a note at jim@singingboysbrewing.com if you'll be attending – I need to make sure we have enough beer and materials.
The workshop is pretty much full, at the capacity we can fit into the CHAOS education space upstairs. But I won't turn away any CHAOS members, just let me know that you're coming by following this link and registering online http://www.singingboysbrewing.com/blog/beer-tasting-and-evaluation-workshops

I'll be there ;)
