All,
I left two kegs at the brewhouse last week that I had purchased from Giovanni. They have both gone missing. They have yellow/green tops, and the handles were taped together and labeled with my initials: "ACY." They were both used soda kegs that had not yet been used for brewing (i.e. they still smelled like soda). I last saw them next to the Bourbon County barrel that contains the Bourbon County clone.
Mark believes that an individual may have taken one or both of them by mistake this weekend. I would greatly appreciate if my kegs would please be returned.
Thanks,
-Adam
EDIT: Mystery half-solved. One keg remains at the brewhouse, currently filled with cleaning solution. I am still missing the other keg. Please let me know if you took a keg fitting the above description this weekend.
Thanks, Benjamin. I won't be at wing nite tonight. You can drop it back at the brewhouse the next time you're there. Just let me know. Thanks again!
Hey are you going to wing night tonight? I can bring it then.
I may have taken it, I bought a keg from Giovanno and I thought he left for me. I can bring it back.
Benji
One keg in the black fridge is mine and full of kolsch. I need to label it properly. We should get an etching tool.
There are some kegs in the black fridge...
Again, thanks for cleaning the inside of the keezer - mark and Lucas.
I cleaned all the lines and put some storage solution in. James and I also moved the keezer into the office...it's new home. The unit was moved to make room to accommodate the new layout James has come up with.
Adam...have you check inside the ferm room and that black fridge? Up in the loft? I'm sure that it was taken or moved by accident. I've had many kegs, some that I couldn't find at first, that were lost in the shuffle...but eventually found.
Mark and I cleaned the keezer last week, so some of the kegs came out of there to directly in front of it. Might have been one of them as for the most part they weren't labelled.
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
Evan,
I can't be sure, because I was last at the brewhouse last Tuesday. But last Tuesday, there were two yellow kegs by the fridge, both full, and no empty ones where I had left both kegs previously. Based on the input from this thread, I now know that the two kegs that I saw by the fridge were mine (filled with PBW) and Lucas's (filled with beer). If there is now (or was on Friday) a yellow empty keg by the barrels, it may be mine. Who knows.
Hopefully I can solve this mystery and stop clogging everyone's inboxes with it.
-Adam
I'm pretty sure from browsing on Friday that there's a keg filled with PBW by the fridge (yours) & also an empty keg by the barrels (where you originally left your two) that's also yours. If I'm mistaken my bad
One of my two is there and filled with PBW, per David/Lucas. The other is still MIA. I will pick up the keg that is there tonight/tomorrow morning.
The keg of PBW is not mine. I had accidentally left a racked beer by the door, but I have picked that up. I shouldn't have any kegs there right now, nor do I have any extras. I did a quick count just to make sure I didn't take Adams.

I'm confused, is the one by the black fridge that's filled with PBW yours or Lucas'? There is an empty yellow top (the other half of yours that were taped together) by the barrels and was in there on Fri when i picked up grain. My impression was that the one near the barrels and the one filled with PBW by the black fridge are both yours.
Bumping this. Anyone? Anyone?
Bueller?
I would really like my second keg back.
Thanks!
Yup, sorry about that... its mine.

I opened that second keg...with the yellow top. I came back on Sunday to again clean lines...this time for the jockey box.
I wasn't sure which yellow topped keg was PBW...I opened that second keg and it was full of what smelled like beer...
Of course...there has been a huge influx of yellow topped corny kegs...so that could have been anyones. I thought it was odd that it was just sitting out on the floor though.
Yeah... that full one by the door is mine. I completely forgot it when I left the other day and just havne't had a moment to stop by and grab it.

Dave -- No worries. I'm always happy for things to be used for the benefit of the club. You actually did me a favor by filling it with PBW, since I would have had to do that anyway. I saw the keg by the black fridge, and I initially thought it was potentially mine, but since it was partially full, I thought otherwise. At least half of the mystery is solved.
There was a second keg that looked like mine next to the black fridge. It too was full of something. Does anyone know what that one is? Maybe both of my kegs are still in the brewhouse after all, and I was all panicked over nothing.
-Adam
This is partially my fault...some of the lines for the keezer needed cleaning. I figured you wouldn't mind if I cleaned one of your kegs...
I only used one though...it is in front of the black fridge...half full of PBW. My apologies.
As for the other keg...I have no clue where that is. I only moved one to fill with cleaner.
Adam,
They were there when I brewed on Friday. I remember looking at them as I was using one of the kegs I bought from Gio and got confused once about where I put it.

I just realized that I have a keg that I'm not sure if it's mine, but it has a black top and is labelled in German. My disconnects don't fit on the posts and I don't remember the keg being in German. It doesn't sound like it was part of this mix up but if anybody has any idea what might have happened that would be very helpful.
So I'm missing a keg. It was in the Keezer (with my Blueberry Wheat) and was labelled with my name. It had a yellow top if memory serves and I don't think it was labelled in german, but it did definitely fix on the standard posts. I stopped by over the weekend and it wasn't there, but I would very much like to have it back as it didn't appear to be in the keezer or around the brewhouse.

I saw a yellow top in front of the lockers....
