We are opening a group grain buy for the Fall. Evan, Bill Sansom, Pete, and myself will be organizing and running the grain buy. This buy will be run a little differently than the past ones. Please read the information below:
- The catalog for grains can be found attached to this thread. Please review it and use the pricing under the column "<2000". For this buy, please note, that we are only accepting orders for Grain. We will open the next buy to more items, but for this one Grain only.
- Please coordinated any split/partial sacks between yourselves. Establish one person to "own" the sack and submit the order. It will be your responsibility to split costs, split the sack, and order a single sack. Half Sacks will not be accepted in the order....only full sacks that have been divided amongst members.
To Place a Bulk Grain Order:
1. To place an order, please follow the link to the Google form. Enter the "Item ID", description, and quantity. If you are entering more than 3 different types of grain, you may fill out the form multiple times.
2. Once you place your order, you will get an email from one of us within a day or two, once the pallet has filled (42 sacks per pallet). The email will be a subtotal of the grain you ordered + Shipping/Delivery. If the pallet is full you will be put on a wait-list. If an additional pallet is opened we will send you info indicating this.
3. Once you receive the subtotal, you will need to send a payment through paypal using the CHAOS site. (Click the donate button, or use the email: CHAOSbrewclub@gmail.com)
4. Once your payment is confirmed you will receive an email indicating that your spot in the grain buy is secured. Delivery date and pick-up times will be updated in this thread.

Grain is delivered and checked _ Jeff said he will be there until 4 PM for pickup. Obviously, Sunday is fine for pickup too.
Delivery in 15 min.
Some things came up at work and I won't be able to come in to brew on Friday. I might be able to help unload in the later afternoon though.
Grant, i'm going to come in at 10:00, rather than 11:30. I have some stuff to do early evening, so will be trying to wrap-up around 3:00-4:00.

Jeff will be there brewing. I'm not sure what time, contact him if you want to brew too.

I'll be working from home, so as long as I've got 15 minutes notice, I can get down there relatively quickly.
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
I can be at the brewhouse on Friday to receive the order, although I would need someone to let me in. I'd probably kill time by brewing a batch. Although I think Jeff is looking to brew, not sure if he has grain on the order.
Anyone with an order on the second pallet around this Friday to meet the truck and help unload? The catch is we don't know what time the truck will come between 9-5 and we get very little notice - so someone who is already planning on brewing or will be close to the brewhouse and flexible to come on short notice.

A big thank you to the bulk buy team. We have all orders for pallet #2 in. We will be sending out an email in the next day or two with everyones totals.
I have also added a calculator to the spreadsheet you will be receiving. If you are paying using paypal (payto:CHAOSbrewclub@gmail.com) you can enter your total and it will determine what additional $ needs to be added to your total to cover paypal fees.
Also, do we want to try and have the order delivered so that people can pick up sacks at the next meeting on Oct 7th?
If that is the case, we need to have all payments submitted by monday Oct 1. If this is not enough time, please reply on this thread and we can push the payment deadline back to accommodate peoples pay cycles...but it means getting grain later too. Let me know.
PALLET 2 IS CLOSED!

Any time works for me but there's a few people expressing some interest in brewing tomorrow in another thread. So I don't know how long you want to hang out at the brew house for, but I'd also like to at least keg a batch and maybe brew. I also don't want to make you spend your whole life at the brew house since you will have already been around for awhile today.
Also I still owe $3.50 in unpaid paypal fees. Can I pay that to somebody or do I need to go through the site? I think I had trouble last time because when you click the donate button it doesn't give you other options to pay the fee.
I can be around in the morning. (Unless someone else will already be there) what time were you thinking Drew?
Will anybody be around tomorrow?
I just added two more sacks to pallet #2, we're getting close!

Wish i could help...ill stop by on monday to get mine
I'll be there after work until 9. Someone bring some beer for me to drink!
I'll be here until 3 pm. Call my cell 301-803-9574 if the door isn't open.
I will need to pick up my grain at 8:30 this evening. I don't get out of work till 8 and I have a friends truck for tonight only. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!
If no one worked out a plan with Lager Dan, could someone label his stuff and put it in the grain loft?
Who is planning on picking up grain today? And when? I may be able to get over to let people in after work...
Grain is being delivered now - I will be there until at least 2 PM.
Sounds good. Thanks.
