When is the next buy? I know I need more grain so I assume others do as well. I can't organize anything but I do need 2-3 sacks of 2-row, 2 of pilsner, 2 marris otter, 1 victory, 1 vienna, 1 munich, 3 wheat and probably more... I got big plans coming up, hence no time to organize a buy.

bulk grain buy?
Daniel indicated that he no longer wanted to organize the grain buy. Bill, myself, Pete, and Evan will be running it. I am going to close this thread out and start a new one with all the detail. If you entered sacks here, you will have to follow directions on the new thread to officially have your order accepted.
Im in too.....ill watch the thread and fill in a spreadsheet when needed....i want a sack of best pills....and a sack of thomas faucets marris otter
I have converted the PDF file into and .xlsx file and am in the process of editing so that I can upload it to google docs. Give me a couple days to get it polished and uploaded.

Of course you can, we love hombrews! One of the alchemists should be able to give you the tour & safety orientation so you're able to sign up for a brew session the next time you get the itch to brew too. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Hi Ronald, the bulk grain buys are in fact for members only, but anyone can join. Here is the link to the membership page with perks & feel free to come to one of our Open Houses, Hoppy Hours, or Wing Nights!

I am still very interested in the group grain buy but like Evan said was waiting for some more specifics from Daniel before just posting what I wanted up here.
I'd be ready in a month to buy up 10 sacks, but not quite yet unfortunately. Also are the whiskey barrels available?
I was assuming some sort of spreadsheet would be posted that we can all fill in our own requests so Daniel wouldn't have to filter information out of this thread & enter it again, which would be a hassle. Daniel, where are you sitting on how to go about this? If you want me to make up a google doc spreadsheet that everyone can access just let me know the exact information you want on there (name, product ID, etc) and I can do it quickly when I'm at my computer during the day
Anyone else need grain? Seems like there was some excitement and then it died all of a sudden...

What is the price of the sacks of grain?
"Give a man a beer, and he will waste an hour. Teach a man to brew, and he will waste a lifetime!" Bill Owen
I'll let you know in the next day or two, thanks Daniel!
I volunteered to help organize it so I'll go ahead and start taking care of the orders. Consider this the official thread. Please everyone let me know what you need. Catalogue posted shortly. Thomas, can you let me know specifically what brands you need of each thing?
Something to maybe consider if people are doing a bulk grain buy in the next month or so, is that grain prices will probably rise significantly next year, due to the extreme drought happening in the bulk of grain producing areas of the United States. I have no idea how long unmilled barley lasts, but folks might want to consider stocking up a bit.
Although even elevated bulk prices will still be vastly cheaper than buying your grains from Brew and Grow.
