I want to meet for the first time in early July on a weekday. If you're interested, please let me know what day works for you. I was thinking July 10th, a Tuesday, around 6:30 or so. Once decided on here, I'll finalize it in the events posting.

Meeting 1
Super pumped for this. Thanks for taking the time to write up the notes.
Meeting Notes for those of us not in attendance:
The following things were discussed and decided on by the group in attendance at the meeting (a group of 10 I think?).
Each person is responsible for bringing 5 gallons of wood-aged beer to the blending date set for mid-November. This beer should be made by August 15th and you should already have acquired your wood, whether it be barrel, oak spiral, chips, cubes, or wizard's staff. On that date we'll meet to talk about wood procedures. Sharing barrels is permissable as long as you're still getting 5 gallons to the blending date.
The group decided to blend up mostly a mix of ageable ales in styles like quad, barleywine, porter, session beer, etc... These will be used to make a few blends. The remainder left after the blend will either be used to put on an event at the time, or dinner, or to be used for later blends.
This will be the first of several projects which can go on at the same time. If anyone else has a project they want to start, let me know or post it.
