hey guys ...........fyi.............punk rock is kegged and chilling in the kegerator on gas....not sure what the og was....but the fg is 1.015 its real smoky and has a interesting flavor. We should have a small bottling party at my place before we have to ship it out. im not sure when it need to be turned in......so a few days or a week before we should get together

Why don't we keep the bottling to Thursday the 27th, then? Maybe 7:00 p.m.? I already had a taste and it is GOOOOOOD. It was a bit labor intensive but maybe this could recreate it a few times per year.
just don't bank on drinking any of this one, a lot has already been consumed.
just got my schedule....i work nights mon and tues....wed and thurs off...... and days friday - sunday. I think that wed or thurs night should work for me......what do you guys think?
It would be a good workshop considering we have a bunch of part-full kegs.
Let us know once you get your schedule. We should set this up as a "keg to bottle" workshop. I'm gonna give this a try this week, but would love to see how you do it Dan.

tried it... this beer is really fucking good.
i dropped the keg off at the brewhouse today.........so feel free try it at the ides party....and we will have to schedule a bottling day.....hope to see you guys there....i have to work in the morning....and if they dont make me work the rest of the day then ill be by

But, either way works for me...
How about ill bring the keg by when i bring the maibock on thurs.....and we can store it at the brewhouse since we have a kegerator now......then we are not stuck to my crappy schedule...and you guys can try it....and bottle it whenever
How does the weekend of the 22nd or 23rd sound to you guys? There is also the 29th and the 30th [which is Devils Night btw] but that is also halloween weekend...

well the carbing process will be good as of oct 12......but i think a bottling info party is in order. I would be happy to show folks how I bottle beer off the keg w/o buyin the beer gun. ( fyi its on homebrew talk.....but its better to see in person) ...ill even bbq..... and if anyone else has a different technique im all about seeing different ways of doing things. so far the evening of oct 27th works for me hopefully i wont get forced to work that night........ i live in bucktown 1810 n paulina.....and there is usually parking ...let me know what you guys think
Bill if you are off that day and can run it down, that would help me a lot. I was going to burn a vacation day and take the day off to run it down. If you're game for making the drop, let me know. Also, we still have about a month to let the brew lager and clean up a little.

The entry must be turned in by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday November 3rd. PLEASE NOTE: I offered to drive the entry down on Thursday November 3rd but I cannot get out of work that early (I thought perhaps the deadline would be later on 11/3). So, someone else must drive it down on the 1st or 2nd; I am unavailable those days!!!
