I contacted John from Farmhouse Brewing Supply about doing a bulk hop order. He told me to get an order together and he will see what he can do for us. I understand some people wanted to order through Hops Direct or one of the others out there. But they have limited selection to only what they grow. Hops Direct has only 16 varieties while John has 46. John has the cheapest prices on semi bulk that I have come across. He does his hops in 4 oz. increments which I think is awesome. With him being in Wisco I am sure we could go pick them up to save on shipping. I will start a spreadsheet early next week if we have enough people that want to order. Here is his Pellet Hops page but he does do whole leaf and has other stuff on his site. If he is out of something I can talk to him to see when he will be getting some in. Harvest is coming up so should be a good supply of everything.

I talked to Chuck since he doesn't get on here too often. He says he'll take:

Again sorry had family in town the last few days. I don't think he will do whole leaf but I will ask him. I know he is out of Simcoe and Amarillo but he does have Sorachi Ace and Citra which are both fantastic hops!!! Mid Country will let us order hops through them now!!! But honestly it is very limited as to what we can get. None of the big ones ( centennial, amarillo, simcoe, citra, sorachi etc.) are available to us. They are a bit cheaper than John but only available in 1 lbs increments. And with only 2 lbs being ordered so far I don't think John will give us much of a break. Anyone else need some hops? Seriously John has a great selection and is by far the cheapest I've found. I am personally good since I stocked up from him in early July. Please let me know ASAP so I can get a quote from him.
