Is this a tribute to Guy

@Chris

Is this a tribute to Guy Ritchie era Madonna?

It didn't end well.

Back from vacation & ready to

Back from vacation & ready to help for the event! Great job on getting a band set up Iggi. I have a cider that I'll be able to let you know later tonight if it will be ready to serve or not after I stop by the BH. Also, I'm available to set up on Sat. What are the plans for the stage (if any) and the rest of the setup? Just wondering if we need to beat the bushes for setup volunteers since this starts earlier in the day than most of our parties.

The Madonna IPA is an IPA

The Madonna IPA is an IPA that wants to be English, but really isn't.

this was last years stage, i will need help between tonight and tomorrow morning setting it up again.  we also need to decide on a location other than the front of the yard.  we had a disconnect betwen the beer and the music that we want to try to avoid.  im thing the best spot will be the driveway corner facing the rest of the yard.  thoughts?

If we entry is through the

If we entry is through the brewhouse (which I think is a good idea) then the stage in the driveway would be perfect. Have it facing the hop garden trellis thing.

Stage could also go next to

Stage could also go next to the north end of the garden angling slightly facing the patio and brewhouse door. Most people will be by the food and beer, so whatever gives us the best sight lines from the patio to the stage is best. I will be available to help set up.

My beer (around 6 gallons total bottled):

Lost Viking - 6%
gruit with juniper, orange peal, and yerbe mate

Suzie Q - 7.5%
cheery cherry red belgian ale with spices:
roasted almond, dried apple & beet root, and cinnamon

Return of the Scorcher - 6.8%
lightly smoked scottish ale

My cider is Poppin My Cider Cherry & Apple at 5.9%. Apple & Cherry with
champagne yeast.

Also have about 4g of a coriander & orange pale ale if we don't have enough
beers. Let me know if so and I'll pull it out of my kegerator

Hello gentlemen,

Hello gentlemen,

I'm confused on what membership I need to attend. I think I was just a web member last time (I do not brew at the brew house). Do I need to be a friend of CHAOS or a one month trial membership?

Thanks

Jason

Jason,

Jason,

Either friend or trial will get you in the door. If you plan on coming to more events in the future, friend is the way to go.

Unfortunatly only paying members can attend, this is how the ILCC interperts the current law.

James and James,

James and James,

Is anyone else picking up ice?  I would imagine that for the amount of beer/cider we'll have we would want 3-5 20lb bags.  I think Ed brought 5 or 6 20lb bags for the Shootout.

You guys are a better judge

You guys are a better judge of Ice needs than me. I've never done one of these before.  I'm happy to pickup what ever you think will fit the bill.  It also comes down to Jockey Box Count + Keezer Taps. After that its cobra taps and keg tubs.  What do you think James L?

Its just for Jockey boes

Its just for Jockey boes right? Maybe I have my sizes worong for bags of ice. I was thinking 1.5 bags per box. a 20lb bag may be what I was imagining.

I can bring some ice as well... Another 4 bags good?

I was hoping to borrow someone's jockey box for the two kegs I'm bringing. Is there one available? I currently only have one picnic tap...

Eric

I think we age good on ice if james picks up 5 - 20lb bags.

There are taps for yours, jockey box or keezer. We will figure it out tomorow.

Eric,  lets split up the ice.

Eric,  lets split up the ice. Can you get 3 20lb bags? I will get the same. I'm bringing a jockey box and a keg tub (carrying the ice).

I can bring an extra picnic tap but we might be short a co2 if we run your kegs and mine out of my box. Do you have a bottle of CO2

and a regulator?

once again, carbing the night

once again, carbing the night before is still a bad idea!  Especially for cider!  It won't be good quality bubbles.  Also, I'm still bringing the

Blonde for a Brunette

Ginger Peach Blonde Ale 5%

 it's in bottles.

as well as something of a playlist.
