If you're attending the afternoon session of the Hoptacular on Sat, Nov 10th (1-4:30pm) & would like to meet up beforehand please reply here so we know how large of a table to shoot for. It's probably a good idea to lay a solid base of food in our bellies, so how about Twisted Spoke at 11:00am since it's close to the Riverfront Theatre?

What are your thoughts for getting over to Hoptacular, walk, cab, CTA? Are we on our own?
Since this idea went over like a fart in church let's just skip the pregame meal down that way. i'll eat up here and then kristin & i will head down there. Did you go last year? Is there a line to get in that we should be there early for or can we just show up at 1:00 and be pretty safe?
Yeah, that's fine.
Last year it was at the Aragon Ballroom and there was indeed a line; I hear this new venue is much bigger but that only means they can cram more people in (rather than do the sanely rational thing and sell the same number of tickets as they did last year and let people actually enjoy their beer-tasting experience without having to be shoulder-to-shoulder and wait in line for 30 minutes for a sample).
I plan on getting there earlier than later (maybe 12:15ish).
