Have you ever wanted professional bottle labels?

During this workshop I will teach you how to create a transfer label for your bottles. Think of the beer you give to friends and family! Think how bad ass they would look with a professionally made label on the beer. We are NOT talking stickers here either!!!!

We will label a 6 pack for each person that comes and do some cool things with the bottles.

You will learn,

  • How to print a professional label
  • Basics of foil transfer
  • Basics of mylar transfer
  • Patience :)
  • Design of labels and bottle information

I ask for a $5 - $10 donation in cash or a unique beer as I'll be buying the supplies for everyone to label and doing some legwork prior to that night.

If you have a custom label you want to print, I ask that you send it to me in advance so I can prep it for you.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I would love to attend this.

I would love to attend this. I realize this is the day afte T giving. I have a feeling that a lot of people will be away for the holiday or busy with family. Anyway you can reschedule this for the following week? Feel like we could get a stronger attendance. No worries if not. Cheers!

Hey Kyle! The following week

Hey Kyle! The following week I won't be able to do it as I'm currently scheduled to be away, and the week after my wife and I are on vacation. This was about the only time I could fit it in however I did move the time to 6pm as a few people requested a later time. I might do another one after the holidays, but was trying to plan on this for someone that wanted to label their bottles for the holiday season.

Also, I ordered supplies for the event with 16 different folis/colors and various other items needed. If you can attend send me your logo in b/w preferably in a PDF or other vector format.

awesome!  Does it matter how

awesome!  Does it matter how detailed or intricate the design is?  Should we keep it simple?  Pictures? Letters?

Hi all! Just a reminder that

Hi all! Just a reminder that if you want to have a custom label ready for your bottles I'll need your design this week! B&W only, and follow the KISS rule (Keep it simple silly). I'll br printing out the labels on turkey day so if you don't have a custom label to my by then you'll be helping me label mine :)

Send over your image in any graphic format as long as it is large or 300dpi & Black & White.
I will bring 16 colors of foil, but I ordered a ton of silver/gold/white.
I'm prinitng out 6 labels per page and I have 20 sheets or so. If you want to do more than 6 bottles please let me know so I can print accordingly. I figure it will be about $5 per 6 pack of prints at this point for those that want to label.

Any other questions, please let me know! I'm looking forward to this class! Everyone's stuff is going to look badass :)

DanielBarker: In regards to

DanielBarker: In regards to complexity, you can get as small as 1px lines. I would recommend keeping it single color at this point as doing a multi color design is exceptionally time consuming & a pain in the ass. On the 52 brew labels (1st atempt I did), I used Helvetica Neue 45 Light as a font for a point of reference. I would expect a decent result as long as the image is vector & high rez. I'm going to print these on a nice laser printer with a high dpi so they turn out well. If you are using thin lines around the outside I'll put a border around it so it doesn't pull apart.

Bummer! I can still print

Bummer! I can still print your labels if you want and have someone else do them. Currently I only have labels from Iggy.

PLEASE SEND YOUR IMAGE OVER TODAY IF YOU WANT A CUSTOM LABLE FOR YOUR BOTTLES THAT YOU DESIGNED.

Here is a sneak preview of part of the process! See you guys tomorrow!
Also, can someone let me in at 5, so I can prep?
