It is true he could do that.

It is true he could do that. We have discussed this loophole and our opinion was to let it be until we noticed abuse. We would consider what your friend is doing abuse as it goes against the intention of the membership tiers. We encourage him to consider the spirit of our community and reconsider the extra 6 bucks for a friend membership.

Apprentice, member since
Hey kevin this response is

Hey kevin this response is not directed towards you personally....Your a good dude and i mean no harm....

this is for the forum at large and for anyone else that has discovered this loophole

you could........but that is like pirating local independent music from broke ass musicians ....super dick move. There are always ways of skirting around the systems that people put in place but sometimes its a shitty thing to do.

I have no problem with someone who discovers us online, decides to sign up for a membership ....goes to a meeting or function and decides not its not for them..... and cancels that month.  Kutos...thanks for coming out and giving us a try.  However I do have a problem with someone that decides they can save themselves 10 or 20 bucks by ripping off a bunch of volunteers trying to  run a social club/brewhouse.  That person is missing the point of life in general.......

So to answer your question...yes you could sign up for one month as a apprentice or even a friend.  Then after the party you could cancel....we dont have contracts.....and won't .....we are just a bunch of friendly beer geeks who are looking to throw a fun party...and if someone feels the need to rip us off...there is the blueprint......

Yeah, I kind of figured it

Yeah, I kind of figured it was a loop hole which is why I wanted to bring it to the club's attention in case it needed to be fixed.  And believe me, the loop hole will not be exploited. (post deleted)
