Stout Night shout outs

I wanted to thank everyone that helped make Stout Night a HUGE success. The biggest thank you goes to the man with the plan, Daniel Barker, who organized the event with help from the events committee. Another big thanks goes to Ken Getty for procuring 8 pop up tents & 2 heaters which made the outdoor area an awesome place to be. There are too many who helped to thank you all individually but you know who you are. Thanks to everyone & anyone that helped by organizing the event, setting up, cleaning up, designing flyers & marketing the event, making beer, making chili, or serving beer & food.

Hope to see you at some of our upcoming events or brewing beer at the brewhouse. Cheers!

Hi,

Hi,

Big thanks especially to Stephen Lane who put many many hours into this event through graphic design, beer-making, coming up with terrific ideas, decorating, making chili, organizing the music playlists and gathering together a sound system for our brewhouse, etc..., etc...

Big thanks especially also to Evan who in my mind exhibits what should be needed from the committee and the board in the case of our seasonal events: a major supportive role.  You should all be proud to have Evan for your club president, he is sacrificing a lot of personal time to just get anything done that needs getting done.

And Dave for leading the tent build-out,

and Ken Getty for donating so many things that made this event an upgrade from last year's, making it warm and comfortable which has been the hardest part of this event so far.

And Iggi for his help in planning with us on the events committee.

And especially everyone who brewed for this event.  I had the opportunity to try nearly everything the night before and got around to everything else the day of.  The caliber and quality of beer has someone been lifted and raised from last year, despite the fact that we had 27 kegs tapped that night.  Special beer shout-out to Gustavo and Eric who I think had the best beer of the night: CC Milk Stout.  And for the most bizarre and somehow very successful stout, andy tomka's marg adams!

Thanks to the cleanup and breakdown crew, as well as Monica and Laura for holding down food service for the night.

And the Chili crew, and Rich's expertise in hunting.

Cheers folks!  And remember, it's never too early to start  thinking about what you're making for next year.  I just cracked a stout from last year's stout night and it's drinking  real smooth.  It'd be nice to serve a two-year vintage brew :).  Let's make next year better than this year and let's also gear up for Cinco!

Thanks for the shout out

Thanks for the shout out Daniel. We received very positive feedback on our brews and were glad to share them with everyone. There were a lot really excellent brews that night!

I do have to thank Daniel, Stephen, Evan and the rest of the crew that made this event possible. I think it went very well for the amount of people and beers that we had. Looking forward to the next event!
