Advice on Kegging system

Hey everyone. I've been looking into purchasing some kegging equipment, and just wanted to see if anyone had any advice as to where to look. I found a kit on cornykeg.com that seemed like a good price. Has anyone bought from them before?

I would prefer a ball lock system, and was thinking of a 10lb CO2, as I would be bottling as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have never bought anything

I have never bought anything from cornykeg.com.  I bought my kit from kegcowboy.com, and also did quite a bit of comparison shopping at kegconnection.com.  Both are pretty highly recommended over on hbt.  If you watch craigslist or the hbt classifieds, you will occasionally find folks selling ball lock kegs for under $40, but, as Chuck stated, they're getting harder to find for cheap.

So I've recently been

So I've recently been building a new kegerator for myself, upgrading from my old 2 tap system.  I had originally bought my old kit from KegConnection.com and they were great. .  For the current one I'm doing something much bigger (8 taps) so I've been a bit more worried about sourcing components and their costs.  Here's who I used for everything:

StainlessBrewing.com - These guys were great, stainless is a bit more expensive than the chrome plated brass, but if you have it the cash it will last a lot longer (from what HBT says at least, this is my first time going stainless).  These guys had the best prices on shanks, taps, and fittings. Also, if you're going to be serving beer only occasionally (if at all, this may just be for carbing/bottling) then I'd also look into a Perlick or Forward Sealing faucet as they don't stick where the other ones will stick if not used constantly.

I bought my manifold from Northern Brewer because I was ordering some other stuff there.  These are pretty much all similar.

RiteBrew.com I used this site to order pretty much everything else.  They had an amazing sale going on for fittings, hoses, etc. that included a % off and free shipping.

I already had regulators and CO2 from my last system, so I didn't need those, but I got mine through Kegconnection and they have lasted me a long time. If you are going to be serving and carbing/bottling I would highly recommend you look into geting a dual regulator system so that you can have the two separate pressures.  If your just going to carb and bottle, then one should be fine.  You'll still want to get the beer cold to carb though.

Hope this helps, all of these sites were great and I'm sure any of them would be good for you.

Oh... my... god.  Why haven't we done this?    http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
