So... I just moved a couple weeks ago. Hadn't turned on my keezer until tonight when I planned to cold crash and carb my two beers for Cinco. It's been on for an hour now and it's still at 66 dF. Not looking good...
Question #1: The keezer at the brewhouse is packed full. Are any of them finished carbing so I can put my beers in there?
Question #2: If the keezer is not feasible, does anyone have a keezer/kegerator which could house my beers for the next 10 days? I can cab it to your place Thursday evening or Saturday morning or Sunday and I'll bring my own CO2 tank to your place.
Thanks for your help in advance!
Jim
I beleive there are some dead kegs in the keezer that can be removed.
I am gonna be in the area of the brew house dis morn so I 'll swing by and check it out for ya.
Thanks! That would be the optimal solution seeing as they need to be at the brewhouse anyway next Saturday.
I have some options , though. (1) I've found a 5.5 cu.ft. chest freezer on CL, brand new, the model I think I wanted anyway, with free "local" delivery. So, I hope that pans out for tomorrow or Friday delivery. Otherwise, (2) Lucas said he'd help me out.
But, brewhouse is optimal.
Can you also check how we're doing on CO2, Chuck? We might need to make a run before Cinco?
Will do Jim.
I need to carb my keg as well. it is in the ferm room. was waiting for a space to open up.

Chances are I will either buy a fridge or use Lucas'. So, go ahead and take the first available spot(s) in the brewhouse keezer, Bill.
There are two open spots in the keezer. Best Stout has kicked so it can be removed and the spot where my keg was is open.
We are looking good on gas. It has not hit the red yet so lets keep an on it.
Best Stout is my keg; I'll grab it this weekend.
Also, I'm good on keezer space. I've just purchased a 5.1 cu.ft. and Evan's helping me get it tomorrow afternoon. So, I should have just enough time to crash and carb before Cinco. I have to get better about doing beers well in advance. I'm going to brew in May for the 4th of July event.
I've been meaning to build another, nicer, less janky-looking keezer anyway, one with a collar this time around. So, this was the kick in the pants to get going on it.
I believe there's only two beers on tap currently. The rest are kicked.
I am carbing my beer for cinco in the keezer and Eric has a brew there that should be on tap.
