Hello CHAOS,
We need help on Monday from 6pm to 7pm at the brewhouse unloading this badass stainless steel fridge and stainless steel tables Iggy aquired.
Iggy is driving the Uhaul back from work and will be to the brewhouse at 6pm. Evan and Bill will be there. We need at least two more volunteers, but 3-4 more would be much appreciated. Please respond here if you plan on coming. Thanks,

The specs on this thing say that it's a little over 500 lbs so any help is appreciated (and needed for that matter)! It's a double wide 7' tall commercial fridge that's a stainless steel masterpiece with glass doors that will look awesome in the space.
I'll be there with my guns fully loaded...

The truck is rented. He is a bit worried about having enough help on the front loading side. Check back before heading over, but if you dont hear anthing further its safe to assume we are a go.

sorry, gang. google maps placed the uhaul rental down the road from my job. when i got there it was an empty lot. i called the lady i spoke with and its in Addison, no way im getting there on my bike. i dont have time to rent it in the morning before work ( i leave at 7am to catch a train for an hour commute) and if we rent it in the eve, we will pay for two days.
in a best case scenario, someone during the day comes out here in a uhaul to pick it up, drop it off and return same day.
wood dale is an hours drive from the brew house. i get off at 430 but can load any time before that. if at 430, i can travel back with to unload. and if planned well enough, i will have a hand to help load it. i think we can load it easily with three people.
ideas, anyone?

On Tuesdays I can leave at 4:00 p.m. and I've got nothing going on after that. I can't guarantee 5:00 p.m. but I can definitely be there by 5:30.

I'm not sure, Chuck. But, I figure if we move the stage, move the couch closer to the barrels, and get rid of the black fridge, we may be able to squeeze it in there.
I just saw the charge for the UHaul and I can't find the thread where it says how much it will cost to get the fridge fixed. Can someone remind me what that's going to cost?

The fridge is 500 lbs. I'm pretty sure we'll need all the man-power we can get.
Jim, I think it's going to cost approximately $75 to have the fridge (and the hot box) looked at. We won't know whether (or how much it will cost for) the giant fridge to be fixed until that happens. Worst case, we sell the non-functional giant fridge on CL and we should be able to recoup our costs. I believe that's how the discussion went.
That's cool. I just lost track of the the thread where all this was discussed.

Hey guys, James & I are enroute in the beast UHaul. Traffic looks pretty bad already so I would say 5:30 is our earliest arrival. Any & all help won't be turned down & is appreciated. As for the current fridges, we're going to leave them where they are until we know that this one can be fixed at a reasonable cost. For now we'll just block in the other fridges with the new one and hopefully we can get it fixed quick.
