I remember when I was building my previous keezer that someone suggested putting a computer fan somewhere inside to help circulate the air since the the cold air falls to the bottom.
I'm wondering if it also helps the longevity of the keezer; if it prevents the keezer from kicking on so often (esp. if the temp probe is near the top). Thoughts?
I have no idea as to the impact on longevity, but I definitely noticed that the temps in my kegerator were much more even when I added a fan. I think there will always be at least some temperature stratification in a keezer, but even a relatively low-cfm fan will greatly reduce it.
