I worked last week and this week to get some changes in to the website and our editor that have simplified both the editor itself (fewer buttons that make no sense, yay!), but also allow you to add files in just a few steps. You now have two options to attach items to posts:
- Click on the "Add an image" or "Add a file" buttons.
- Drag and drop a file or image into the editor.
This is now a 1-click situation where you select the file and our website automatically handles uploading it to your personal file directory and attaching it to your post. Because I cannot have a post where I talk about image uploads without something visual, here you go:
Woo hoo!
I tried dragging and dropping and it gets stuck on "Processing."
What was the name of the file, I'll check and see if there's some weird permissions things going on? How big was it? it may take some time if its a large file since it is uploading it right after you drag and drop it.
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
