I know alot of us are probly busy thinking about the move to the new brewhouse and not the up coming NFL year, but I thought it might be a good idea to see if I could start up a CHAOS group fantasy football league this year. depending on how many people are interested I would like to start a 10 man league. I would set it up and be commisioner.
We could set up a little draft party / bottle share event.
Possibly wager rare bottles in place of cash.
Any ideas or if your interested post here.
I've played in a league of home brewers where entrance is a 6er of home brew. We could step up the game and make it a5 gal batch...

I'm interested, but it will depend on the draft date and entry fee. (I'm in three other leagues, so am pretty busy fantasy football-wise.) I like the idea of using beer for entrance and prize money.

Instead of fantasy, how about a pick'em league? Less drafting, more watching the whole league.

As far as league set up Below is what I would like to do as far as roster depth goes scoring will be pretty much standard. I will also Keep a running list of teams untill we get to a ten man league. I will set up the league by tomorrow with the following general set up unless there is a concensus to change.
-Online draft on Sat. Aug. 24th 5:00 p.m. CST w/option of drafting at the club - Bottle sharing.
-10 teams
-Head to Head
-6 team playoffs
-Gametime - Tuesday Continually rolling waivers
-2 QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1 TE, 1K, 1 DEF, 5 Bench
League Dues = 1 Respectably rare Bomber each
Payouts =
1st Place = 5 Bottles of players Choice (1st Choice)
2nd Place = 3 Bottles of Players Choice (2nd Choice)
3rd Place = 2 Bottles of Players Choice (Whatever is left)

I got a buch of vanilla extract if anyone wants to make a vanilla dark lord. It could be Mexican vanilla dark lord, or tahitian vanilla dark lord, or Madagascar vanilla dark lord.
Mexican Vanilla Dark Lord would be a great luche libre name....

Point of clairification...up top it says 6 team playoffs but Yahoo is programmed for 4 team playoffs. With 6 Teams I am guessing #1 & #2 two get a bye next week then play winners of #3 & #6 and #4 & #5 respectively? Just checking before MNF is over and things might be harder to change.

Congrats to Jamie Proctor for taking 1st place in the this years fantasy football league. I took second place and chuck took 3rd. We are waiting on 1 more bottle submission to finalize the list of bottles to choose from. I will let you know when this is updated so that you can choose which bottles you would like and when you would like them.
The bottle I will be contributing is Stone Brewery's Punishment - Double bastard ale brewed with peppers and aged in bourbon barrels. I'm going to swing by the brewhouse tomorrow and drop it off.
