New to the club

Hi everyone.  I just discovered your club and am really interested in joining.  I've taken a class (at Brew in Grow) and toured a bunch of breweries, but the equipment and lack of knowledge/space were enough to keep me out of brewing and just focused on buying delicious beer.  After attending a couple classes/discussions, I'd like to start brewing beer.  I have no equipment and a very basic understanding of the process.  It sounds like the apprentice level would be a solid place to start, but I was hoping to get someone's opinion.  Thanks a lot for your time!

Hi John, Glad to hear you're

Hi John, Glad to hear you're interested in checking out the club.  I think your best bet would be to attend our annual Harvest Fest, which is this Saturday.  For the price of admission, you get a two month membership; which will give you opportunity to brew a couple times and participate in club activities.  Once the two months have expired and you've decided that CHAOS is amazing, then you can decide between the Apprentice or Brewer memberships.  (I think Brewer is the best deal since it provides unlimited accessa to the club house.)

Hey Jeff, thanks for the quick response. That actually sounds like the perf=
ect way to check out the club! My wife and I have a birthday party in the s=
uburbs at 8 on Saturday, but I see the fest begins at 5. We'd probably only=
stay till 7 or so, but would it be cool if she came along, or does she need=
to pay the $30 bucks as well? Also, can I just give you the cash the day o=
f or would you rather me pay online? Thanks again for all your help!

John,

John,

For legal reasons, everyone at the party needs to be a dues-paying member or prospective (i.e. Trial) member, so your wife would need to pay the $30 as well. We don't accept cash at the party, so just sign up for a membership ahead of time and we'll see you at the party!

Hello,

Hello,

I was interested in gifting my husband a Trial membership for Christmas but I notice there aren't any gift options. I'm hesitant to register him now, since I'm assuming the trial period would begin immediately after payment. Are there any other options for gifting memberships that I'm not seeing here? Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone.  I was part of

Hi everyone.  I was part of the new crew that brewed beer on Wednesday, 11/13.  I was wondering what the next step was and if I was slacking in my first batch beer brewing duties.

Thanks,

John
