Eric and I left last tonight and on our way out a tow truck driver let us know that our parking spaces were metra property and subject to being towed after 2 am. I let him know this wasn't known to us and our landlord hadnt presented the situation as such. He didn't care. We tried calling chuck and a few other people to let them know.
We might want to have a discussion with landlord about parking. These are apparently not our spots. News to me.
Those are our spaces, a lease saying as such has been forwarded to the affected parties. The lease rider says nothing about 2 AM or any time whatsoever.
Mark, is there a copy of that lease at the brewhouse anywhere in case this happens again? Also is there anything we need to know about the tow company regarding who has the right to tow? Typically there is a password used & someone has to call it in. Curious to know why they think they can do that.
The tow company thought it was metra property....they are mistaken. Wasn't even our building's tow company.
