AHA Conference Registration Info.
I am planning on going! It's on my calendar.
I'll be registering!
Registration kicks off today at 10am!
Lotto entered - FYI - they plan on having 20% more capcacity than last year, so they seem to think everyone will get a entry.
I registered today, as well.
Me too!
Is anyone planning on doing the banquet?

Yes, I signed up for it.
I didn't do the banquet. I'm thinking that would be prime time to hit up Founders and Hop Cat....
Oh I still plan on doing that along with Brewery Vivant and Harmony Brewing Company... I figure there should be enough days to hit up all of these places over the long weekend.
Signed up too, sans banquet.
I did the banquet lady year. It was fun. But, I think it's only worth it if you have a beer in the final round. Foods good, but it's pricey. All that being said, I did not buy a banquet ticket. I'll be at founders with Jeff.
I also didn't enter for the banquet. I figured $220 was enough, I'd rather spend another $65 in other beer.
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
Submitted, no banquet. Founders FTW!

Registered. No banquet...
We have to get our rocker patches done before this. I need to be rocking a legit jacket with all those patches on the back up there.
Just got my confirmation email! I'm in!
I haven't gotten a personal email yet confirming, but I saw this post on their website, that says every AHA member that registered, has been accepted to attend the conference. yay!

Paid attendees will receive hotel details on or before March 7. We have numerous hotel rooms held and you’ll get the information first as a paid attendee.

Did You Miss the Application Window?
Relax, don’t worry, have a homebrew! We still have space for a few more attendees to enjoy the finest homebrew event of the year. Registration opens to all interested AHA members on Wednesday, March 12 at 12:00 noon Eastern (11:00 a.m. Central; 10:00 a.m. Mountain; 9:00 a.m. Pacific). They released the hotel info, who wants to share a room? The Amway Grand is right next to the convention center and only $139/night. I've stayed there for a conference and thought it was a pretty cool place.
I'm up for a room share. Do we get to snuggle? Paid for my ticket today.

Ditto. Any women in this club, who want to share a room...? crickets.
Has anyone thought about transportation there? Like car pooling, or something? My nascar Saty is not an option. I know that you can also take the Metra there from downtown, it's about $30 each way, but I wouldn't mind sharing car expenses either for a road trip.
Also, are people planning on staying through Sunday? It feels weird to leave a cool place with so many breweries on a Saturday. Thoughts?
I have scheduled June 11th thru the 16th off. So I'm in for staying until Sunday.
Since I do not have a vechicle I will gladly share expenses and car pool.

Bill, I plan to head up Wednesday and stay through Sunday, as well. Want me to book a room and you can pay me half? Please bring a blow up doll for snuggling.
I'll need to car pool, as well.
Sounds good to me Jeff. FYI you might want to bring some ear plugs

LOL! Nooooooooooooooooooo! You snore?
Great, now we just need a car, a driver... and I still need a roomie.
I can go Wed. through Sunday also, yeah fun!
Could someone post the hotel information - I didn't get it yet.
Here you go:

I'm thinking of booking a room here: http://homewoodsuites3.hilton.com/en/index.html
If anyone is interested, I could get a 2 BR suite instead of just a 1 BR and we could also fit someone on the couch. Its a little ways out of the way, but I usually stay in Hilton properties so....
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
I can pass out on a couch...
I'll probbaly just stay in van down by the river...
I've a number friends still living in Grand Rapids I am willing to contact them to see if anyone would be willing to let people sleep on their couches . Is that's something people would like me to check into? also I believe Jer bear said he had land for camping the night or two before the conference. we should talk about doing something there or maybe one of the nights before or during the conference. and finally this is a critical mass of people all going up and down the same days we should as a club rental a van to get there.
Well, if we're going to have a both, we need some way to get everything up there. Are club funds available to rent something? I think this is a big opportunity for ourclub to beclme 'legit' in the beer world, so worth the expense.
I'll be taking a SUV - so I can take some things.
We will certainly figure put a way to transport up our beer and equipment for club night. I imagine we will have a van of some sort for transport
James, I can pass out on a strangers couch too!
I will be driving my truck up Wednesday before. I also have a trailer.
Anyone need a cheap ticket to the conference? I got two and I'm selling one for half price. Lemme know if you wanna go!
