We received an invite again from Won. The last few events were a great success and would provide great additional exposure for us. Are we interested in setting up a table this round?

I'd be interested in helping out again. Anyone else in? I'm thinking we need 4 kegs minimum. Jess and I could supply two or just one if it gets too crowded.
In. Time to unleash the Saisons!
what's the word on this? I can contribute a batch if we're doing it
Brew LaLa and it looks official now. Won has the event up with us there. Count me in for 5 gal of Red Lager. BTW this may be the same beer for Cinco
I'm also in with a keg, probably Burning the Amber Ale.
Chris, please share more details about then when/where/how when you can
this is def a go. Won made me an admin along with a bunch of other clubs so eertone can promote their own stuff. i have a habit of double booking myself and it turns out i will be out of town this weekend, but the invitation to CHAOS still stands. i can have Won make someone else the point person - and Chris, you may already have one for the other organization. whoever wants to take the lead, let me know. im glad to hear a bunch of folks are on board with this!

I'm happy to step up on this one. Our, if one of the guys who has done one of these before wants to take the lead, that's cool too. Steve? Chris?
going once...twice...

Is this for a CHAOS table at an event?
Jeff,
Yes this will be a table. Won will supply the table, ice, water and cups. We would need the beer (obviously) chalkboard for the menu, the Chaos banner. We can decide if we want to bring the jockey box or not. Usually picnic taps are fine. We should set up an hour - two early and I think each person serving will get a plus one.
The Chop Shop has a back door for drop offs, but we can't linger long there.
Jamie,
If you want to take the lead, I can help out. Does anybody know how to do the sign up sheet?
Hey Chris, I can take the lead and set up a sign up sheet for additional contributions. Can you put me in touch with Won and let me know about any other details that have been discussed already?
Jamie,
I facebook messaged Won and gave him your email.
Are we collectively brewing for this? Do we need to have tickets, what about if your working the booth? Curious since tickets are already on sale and I'd like to be a part of this in some capacity.
No need for tickets if your helping with the event. We should have 4-6 kegs. So we should get a signup sheet.
Jamie — Has Won contacted you?
Here's a signup sheet:
Brew La La signup
For now it's just for the beer. I will add details about volunteering at the event.
Chris, Won has not contacted me, so I will need to find out from him how many volunteers we can/should have at the table, and confirm those people get a +1.
Event is listed 2-7pm, so I'm thinking to set up volunteer shifts 1:00-4:30 and 4:30-8:00 to include time for setup and teardown. Those brewing for event would get first crack at the volunteer/free tix. 2 per shift, or maybe 3? What did you guys do in the past?
I think the sheet is locked...
thanks Nancy, modified to allow editing
I emailed Won and cc'd Jamie. 2 shifts sound great. At brew springsteen there was about 4 of us and we just traded off here and there. I will update about the guest list when we find out.
Where is this at? This says it already passed: http://windycitybrewhaha.com/
The other webiste is for a MKE roller derby event saying its May 30th? Confused.

Matt — The event is formally called Brew LaLa. Won has been doing Brew HaHa events for years and the ICBG kinda ripped him off. This is why the last event was BrewHaHaHaHaHa.
I have heard back from Won and we are limited to 4 volunteers. I was going to help set up and break down (and anything else needed). Jessica is going to want to pour. I figure if we have more than 4 people contributing beers, we can use the +1's for them.
Clarified some details from Won on this, we will NOT have +1s for all volunteers.
We still need one or two more beers to serve - anyone else interested?
Anyone contributing beer gets priority for a volunteer spot/ticket to the event. But if you just want to volunteer/ get in to the event, make a note here, there might be an extra spot for that .
Hey, I plan to brew this weekend, and I would like to submit my Lost Viking Gruit (juniper, orange, mate). I may have some sour ale also. If I have a really special aged sour, is it cool to bring just two gallons?
Cool Steven. Bringing another smaller batch sounds great to me.
Can you add that stuff to the sheet? Are you also planning to go to the party/volunteer?
Yes, I would like to volunteer also.
Chris, Steven, Nancy - I added you all to the volunteer list. Feel free to adjust. Steven, I added you to the beer list, please add details.
Everybody else - Would like to have one more batch to serve at the BrewLaLa, and there's one more spot for a volunteer/comp. There is plenty of time left to brew, would just like to have our team assembled. Matt, were you interested?
Still looking for one more brewer for this event. There's a spot waiting for you on the volunteer comp list as well

Hey, I brewed last night and added my description. Going for a very stable sessionable ale, so we should be good for timing (5 gal kegged.)
I've decided to add some of my birthday sours to the list (around 2 gal bottled.) Most of it is the Flanders Red barrel aged project, and I have some blends of that (cherry, and a stout.)
Do we have enough for this? I just brewed a Rye ESB that could potentially be ready for this date.
We might have enough, but one more batch would certainly be great to have
Alright, with that addition, we are all set for this event.
Can everyone please have your beers at the Brewhouse on the morning of the 24th. I'll bring gas and a jockey box for serving two kegs at a time, plus bottles. Or, if someone else can provide the gear, we could serve all four kegs at a time. I'll plan to take the beer and CHAOS materials to the space at 1pm. Cups and ice will be provided at the party. Franklin and others, you can meet me at CHAOS before 1pm, or at Chop Shop just after, whatever works, just let me know.
There are 2 Jockey boxes at the brewhouse for a total of 4 taps, just so you know.
I'll probably just meet you all at the Chop Shop as I live around a mile away. I have a 10# CO2 tank that we can use. I'll need to reload it, but that should be easy to do.
Also, should I buy a ticket?
I wonder if those kick ass brew shirts will be ready by then...
You're on the volunteer list, so you won't need a ticket. If you can bring that tank with two gas connects, I'll bring both jockey boxes
Jamie,
I can be at the brewhouse at around 12:30. I'll have my keg and a co2 tank. I can help with transportation/setup. Let me know if this is works.
I kegged my gruit Sunday and it's gassing up in the keezer. I can bring bottles to be picked up this Saturday at 12:30 as well (I've decided to bring some sours for when I bartend 2nd shift.) I'll be there to help clean and pack up. We'll need a chalkboard, chalk, and a stand. We have business cards to hand out.
I have a 10# tank with about 5# in it. Will that be enough? If not, I can fill it.
Also, I do not have a two-connect...I thought I would be able to borrow one from a friend, but I won't be able to. Should I buy one or do we have one at the house?
Also part 2, I'm going to try building a randall for the thing. Might be a fun project. Seems super easy.
Cheers.
Steven, all -
Stopped by the club last night and the keezer is out of gas. I didn't see a spare tank anywhere. Someone's keg might have a leak.
Tim
Whoa, I didn't check the gas, but I tested my beer and it seemed less carbed than it should be.
I tried the keep your keg lid loose till the gass pressure seats it trick. Hope it wasn't me that leaked the tank dry...
Is there a spare jockey box in the brew house that's not being used for Brew Lala by Chaos? Would need to borrow it tomorrow to pour at Brew Lala...
Jamie,
I have 2 boxes (24 bombers) of Ginger Aw-Snap! in the ferm room. One of the boxes sucks, so becareful lifting that one.
What time can we get there, if we are working the later shift, is 1pm OK, or would we not get in until 2 when it starts?
Thanks, Nanc
Eric, Jamie was using both jockey boxes for tomorrow.
Jamie,
You will be at the brewhouse at 1230?
So far we have two jockey boxes, 2 gas tanks with lines for three beers. ( Eric's and mine )
Im ok with swapping the gas out from time to time. My beers tend to be a tad over carbed.
Nancy,
It's cool to show up early. You and Eric can grab a table and a spot if you get there before the rest of us.
Load in is actually beginning at 11, so anyone getting there separately can get there as early as then
Chris, I'll be at the Brewhouse by noon, might try to push it earlier now that i know we can load in that early.
I'm bringing my gas tank with two lines and two picnic taps. Also planning to bring both jockey boxes from CHAOS if they both work. If so, picnic taps are just backup.
I'll make sure BrewLala has everyone's names, so you should be able to get there whenever after 11.
Planning to also bring CHAOS fliers, Chalk board, maybe the sign?, the jockey boxes, and grab Nancy, Steven's beers. Franklin, is yours there too?
Anything I'm forgetting?
Reach me at 919 - Four One Two - 2166 as needed, or by email. I don't have your numbers except for Steven's, so feel free to leave them here or text me with them
Thanks everybody, see you tomorow
I would love to bring the wooden CHAOS sign, but I doubt there is a way to hang it. I guess I can swing by the venue at 11am for a quick check, then go to the brewhouse at noon. The vinyl CHAOS banner will work as a back up.
I'm going to look for chalk markers. Anyone already have those?
I bought a set of chalk markers for NHC, I'll bring them tomorrow.
