Iggy and I have worked out the details for CHAOS Brew Club to operate the Bike Valet at Pitchfork
I am opening this opportunity to the General Membership for single shifts and willl be allowing for people to sign-up for multiple shifts starting Friday (7/12/2014) morning.
I see two opportunities for us:
1) Advertising for Summer BrewBQ II - I think we hold a raffle each day where were have people give us their name and email on numbered sheets as they drop-off and pick-up their bike(s). We then use a random number generator to determine the winner of a single Trial Membership and contact the winner each evening. Fliers and past menus of the beers we brew could really raise some eyebrows and drive a boost in our Trial Memberships!
2) Tips - I don't think we would make much money, but I think friendly, quick & quality service will translate to higher $$$.
With that said, I would expect everyone who works wear CHAOS branded gear and promote the hell out of the Summer Brew-BQ along with giving top quality customer service. This will be really hot and sticky at times, but the impression we make on folks could really spike the attendance at our party and directly correlate to the amount of tips at the end of each night.
I will supply the tent for shade and we can have multiple Igloo coolers from the brew house filled with water and ice each day. Any additonal ideas are welcome.
The day that you sign-up to work is the day that you will receive a wristband for the festivial.
There may be one or two Chainlink.org folks who sign-up for a shift or two. This opportunity came to us through their organization, but did not feel comfortable committing to the entire weekend so close to the event.

Pretty much show up there, feel free to show up early and get your wristband to go into the venue anytime before.
I have the raffle sign up sheet from last night. How/When are we going to do this? I assume there are other sheets from the other two days.
I took the rest of the photocopied flyers and will pass them around or, at least, ask B&G if I can leave them on the counter there.
