My girlfriend and I attended an open house at Chaos a few months back and there was a woman that was bottling for her boyfriend and applying labels and my girlfriend learned that the person had a design background. Now, my girlfriend has a design idea, and would like to talk with and potentially collaborate with her.
My girlfriend is a (good) beer lover, and also is a serious person: a published author on 19th/early 20th century Russian style (masquerade focused, really interesting stuff), and a college professor that teaches classes on propaganda and protest art (everything from posters to graffiti to pussy riot.) I can’t elaborate on the idea, but it’s sound.
Can anyone point me to this person?
Sean
I'm pretty sure this was probably me, but I was not bottling for my boyfriend. I am a Homebrewer also, they were my beers and I'm a professional graphic designer. What involvement or collaboration were you thinking of me when reaching out?
Hi and thanks so much for responding. I'm Colleen and I'm interested in designing a gift bag or gift box for six- and four-packs. The concept is similar to the gift bags for wine, but this would be for beer. It isn't complicated but I see it as addressing an unmet need. I'm also really interested in visual culture, especially propaganda posters and packaging. Do you have any interest in working on something like this? I could probably do it myself but it seems like it would be more fun to collaborate. Please write directly to me at cmcquill@gmail.com if you're interested. Thanks!
