I asked Bob from Beer Bistro and he said he'd be happy to donate some gift cards, ya! He will donate a $30 and a $50 cards. I'll bring them on Saturday.
If anyone has any other items to add to the raffle, please do so by 2pm today (Friday 10/17). I'll need to print off the raffle descriptions for the drop-boxes.
I have a $100 Gift basket from Publican Quality Meats, including a $75 GIft Card, a 500 mL bottle of Pacific Sun Gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oil and an 8 oz jar of Johnson Creek Farm honey
It's too late for today, just planting the idea for future events. The spectacular beer AND food menus for today got me thinking: what if - at another event *where there's equally delectable food (and beer)* - we raffle of a certain amount of "advanced screening" tickets? These winners would get into the event 30-60 minutes early to enjoy the food and beer without the crowds.
I know, I know... (see my other post regarding getting the place ready quicker}
Alternately, we could sell 20 or so VIP tickets at $50/ticket and they get in 60 minutes early. Maybe it's worth an extra $400 to the club to be ready an hour earlier...
