Hi everyone. I brewed Wednesday night and Nancy brought it to my attention that the handle was broken off the wort chiller. I was able to get it turned on, but it stayed on. So it worked perfectly fine for me on Wednesday, but I was only able to turn it off by unplugging the motor. Nancy asked me to put a note on it, but I forgot, so I figured I'd give everyone a heads up about the situation this morning. Thanks!

Wort Chiller
I am confused, I looked at the chiller yesterday and the handles for the water was intact. Do you guys mean the power switch for the pump?
I think that's what John is talking about. The switch seems to have broke off. I had to operate the chiller pump last night by plugging and unplugging it.
I thought from the other post that a new pump switch had been purchased, but couldn't find it.
To clarify, only the little handle on the power switch is broken off. The switch itself still works properly. When Icehouse and I were brewing last weekend we improvised by using the monkey wrench to manipulate the switch.
Can someone volunteer to get this fixed tonight or tomorrow? I won't have the time to get this done and it would be nice to have this 100% for Learn to Homebrew Day.
Thanks!!!
Yes to all the above. Thanks for clarifying all that, guys! Happy Halloween!
I can get to it tomorrow morn.
