Does anyone have access to miter (chop) saw in the city that would be willing to help me out? I'm building out a keezer collar and plan to do miter joints on the outer portion. I've tried to do that enough times with a handheld saw to know how much of a pain in the ass it is to get clean angles.

Keezer Collar Help
I've got a miter saw and a table saw, but I'm down in Calumet City. You are more them welcome to use them anytime.
I got a miter saw and I'm in Logan square
James, I'm in Wicker Park. I'll PM you to see if we can figure something out.
Mark, thanks for the offer but it looks like James and I are practically neighbors.
I volunteer at the Rebuilding Exchange on Elston and Webster and they may be able to cut it or let you use theirs for a fee. Give them a call to see. rebuildingexchange.org
FYI, cuts at rebuilding are $1 a piece.
Thanks for the heads up. I actually took their Woodworking 101 class over the summer and made a desk. I'll check with them to see if they're willing to do the precision cuts or if I can hop into the workshop for a nominal fee.
