On December 4th, in the west loop, I'm helping run a popup gallery that will be displaying relics from the long closed Holography Museum. For those that are unfamilur, the Museum of Holography had one of the best collections of holograms in the world. There is a large story behind it and if you are inclined to read it, it is below. It is a sad tale that needs a happy ending.

We may have up to 100 people at our gallery event from 6pm to 8pm. Some major pieces will be on display, and a talk from a holograh expert will happen at 7pm. The goal of the event is to hopefully find a home for the full collection of holograms and the tools that create them here in Chicago. If a home is not found, the pieces will be pieced out and the collection will be lost.
I have two kegs with roughtly 7 gal of brew for the event, but wanted to see if anyone else wants to come with a keg or two, and help pour for an hour or two.
Anyone interested in helping us pull off this event?
Bump.
Currently at 200 tickets for the event. It would be awesome to have some other beers there other than what I have. Can anyone else help?
Just last night Nancy was complaining about having too much homebrew.
I have too little homebrew :(
And I have too crappy homebrew in bottles, aside from the already-spoken-for fermenters full of stuff I expect to be good. My takeaway from this is that a) I need to brew a lot more and b) I should get some kegs.
Mark has donated some brew, but we could always use whatever swill you have :)
We are at 400+ tickets for the event (200) on the wait list, and more are coming in. Tomorrow is the big day so in anyone else has even a 6 pack to donate, it would be appreciated.
Thanks!
It looks like stout and chili has more than enough beer so I can give you one or both of my beers for that. 5/10g, kegged, ready to go. Can you pick it up from me in Logan Square?
