Hi, all. As the membership person, I was going to extend an invite to everyone who have cancelled their membership in the past year to Stout & Chili Night. But, I wanted to offer them a *no* cost way to check out the club and specifically our brew house before they commit to any kind of membership again.
Could someone please host or help host an Open Haus on Saturday, January 3rd, 10th, or 17th?
Jim, has anyone volunteered for this? If not, you can tentatively put me down for January 3rd.
No one has volunteered and I wanted to get the e-mail out to cancelled members so I volunteered myself and put it on the calendar for Jan 10th.
Thanks, though!
I'd be happy to help. Let me know what you'd like me to do.
AWESOME! Thank you, Zach!
The only real help I need is to cover part of the day so neither one of us has to be there the entire time. I'm assuming people will be brewing that day since it's a Saturday (although no one's on the calendar yet) so I'm not too worried about that.
I'm all for bringing some homebrews and other craft beers and just hanging out at the brewhouse that day.
That sounds extraordinarily doable. What time you want me there, 5am? 5:30?
Jim - Not to steal Josh's thunder, but I think we are at least tentatively scheduled to be emptying one of the barrels that day, so that might be a cool thing for people to see if they are around when that is going on, including all the bottling, kegging, etc. that goes along with it.
I actually don't care which Saturday it is; I just slapped it on the calendar because I wanted an Open House for January and no one spoke up as to date when I first asked.
If Josh doesn't mind people milling about watching, we can change it.
No Jim, I just misread which date it was, disregard
No, no. You're right! It would be an awesome thing for people to see!
Let's see if Josh has an opinion one way or the other.
I dont like when its too busy while empting the barrels. Too much going on doesnt really het as educational as you would assume.
Okay, roger that, Josh! We'll keep Open Haus on the 10th.
Scrooge McJosh. I guess if I showed up more often I would know that, right?
