With multiple Barrel Projects completed this fall we have a significant influx of carboys and kegs in the brew house.
Please pick-up your empty carboy and empty kegs from the brew house ASAP. If you also have a beer that has been sitting in the ferm room that you can bottle/keg please do so, as our Ferm Room is packed.
Thank you for your cooperation!
In keeping with this theme: If anyone has a carboy/keg (s) that I could use/have/buy, please let me know.
Thank you.

I have at least one carboy for sale. Please PM me.
Preprations for Stout and Chili Night will start very soon and if you have any empty kegs or carboys at the brew house please remove them this week.
There is a large pile of carboys under the stairs and a large group of kegs in between the stairs and the barrels. It is important that both of these areas are clear by Stout & Chili Night.
I'll be happy to clear out any kegs that remain unclaimed by the party.
Do we have a limit of the number of carboys/buckets you are allowed to store at the brewhouse? If not, I really think we need one. I am rarely able to store a single carboy on the racks while I am sure there are people who have a half dozen or more. Probably several on there for people that aren't members any more(along with abandoned beers in the ferm room). I'd be willing to do a inventory with an active member list and tag those that are for members and fall within the limit and then give people a reasonable time to pick theirs up or out they go.
Rich...the board's position was an informal one of 2 per person (keg and/or carboy when it was brought up in the summer. The consensus at the time was it there was a flux of carboy in the brew house due to the number of barrel projects and didn't want to act too quickly.
Since then this has to have been my 3rd or 4th post regarding empty carboys and kegs, so the policy most definitely needs to be revisited at the next meeting.
Let's give it a week before you inventory anything, but I think a formal inventory will help us determine if these carboys are now club owned or not.
Got it, just let me know if you want my help with it.
Inventory sounds like a great idea, and I'd be happy to help out with it. Might be a good idea to review the ferm room, too, becuase as you say, there may well be fermenters that have been forgotten or abandoned.
I'll take care of mine on Saturday during the open house. I think I have 3 or 4. The 1-2 extras I have I'm willing to sell, absolutely no room at home. Otherwise, I'll recycle them.
Okay, lay it on me. Is it at the brew house?

I'll be able and willing to help clear that out for the party. I'm on the pre-party Stout night prep crew anyway, so get me in there to help.

Darren, there's an open house this Saturday from 10a-6p if you want to drop by to do some stuff.
I'm brewing on Sunday. I'll grab my stuff then.
Cheers!

I've tossed two buckets already. So, we can have two carboys on the rack at anytime, correct?
I have I think two or three I can pickup this weekend.
