Open Mic/Ro Nite @ Beermiscuous

Hi, all. I know Wing Nite conflicts with Beermiscuous' Open Mic/Ro Nite but the latter is an event we co-host with Beermiscuous (i.e., we should continually have some kind of presence at Open Mic/Ro Night). So, if anyone can spare an hour-and-a-half and a few bombers, please go and represent us!

Here's the event link: http://chaosbrewclub.net/event/beermiscuous-open-micro-night-0

Cheers,

Jim

Jim - I will do this if you still need someone.  Do I need to do anything other than show up with beer?

Thanks, Rich!

Thanks, Rich!

I just confirmed with Paul and he said it is indeed that easy: just show up with beer!

Rich, I've done this before.

Rich, I've done this before.  Just show up with a bomber or two and be prepared to give a little info on the beer.

For future reference, can beer in a keg be brought in? Or should it be dispensed in to a growler first?

I'd bring it in a bottle.

I'd bring it in a bottle.

Which begs the question: should the club invest in a beer gun?

We have beer left over after Stout Night which would be perfect to bring...

I don't think they allow kegs

I don't think they allow kegs in the bar, so it should be bottled or dispensed into a growler.

No problem, I'll just bring a Party Ball then.

Jim - I frankly don't think I would be very good at explaining someone else's beer.  That, and I already have some at home.

Sorry, Rich, those were two

Sorry, Rich, those were two separate thoughts...I just wasn't clear.

I knew you were bringing your own.

Rob's comment about the keg made me think if someone wanted to bring their leftover beer from Stout Night (which is most likely in a keg), they can't: unless they just picnic-tap it into a bottle...
