Yep, and the fool had to dig for that shit. This isn't as a board member: I will kick the living shit out of someone if i catch them taking or using stuff from my storage spots without asking.
I would also say, that I've had several things taken from my bay without authorization, mostly from the large supply of rice hulls that I've got.
I think we should add this to the agenda for the next general meeting. My guess here is that I told someone I didn't mind if they really needed them, and then it's passed via word of mouth that "Oh, Lucas doesn't mind if you're in a pinch" and repeat that with enough people's things over enough members, and we have a problem. I think we should remind people that they need to call or ask first, because the bays are people's personal storage. I'm going to assume that this isn't malicious, but that it's just a misunderstanding and we need to remind everyone, maybe even put up a sign in the back near the storage. Thoughts?
Not just signs discouraging pilfering/taking-without-asking; but how about people's full names (yes, last names, too) and mobile numbers so that they can call/text the person whose storage spot it is if they are indeed really "in a pinch"?
If individuals want to put those signs on their spots, fine, but I don't think the expectation should be that anyone with a storage spot is open to requests for their shit.
Was it in your storage spot?
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...

As a board member: Don't do it.
But, really, I'm not playing.
Ugh. That's frustrating.

Signs on the shelves seem like a good idea. It won't stop the truly inconsiderate, but will prevent misunderstandings.
Signs are a good idea. It will keep any more misunderstandings from happening.

Nope. Didn't mean that, Brock.
