Jeff/Pete - If you are brewing next weekend, don't worry I plan getting there early, so the mash tuns should be ready for you to dump and clean out by the time you get there. That will work out great for both of us.
cost is the same as last year $200.00 split 7 ways.
cost per person is $28.00 easiest way for me is chase quick pay. jsmi0275643@yahoo.com
Also the barrel could come at any time in the next week im hoping saturday, then I can bring it right over and fill really quickly. Ill let everyone know when im heading over.
Also please reconfirm the general location of everyones carboy, the ferm room is packed and itll take me forever to hunt down everyones batch.
My Carboy is on the Middle Shelf and marked: Maple Bourbon Barrel. If you need additional beer I have a keg marked Russian Imperial Stout in the Ferm Room as well, but please use the Carboy first.
Tracking says it should arive on Friday night for now. Ill most likly be at the brew house at around 9-10 on saturday to fill. Ill probly be pulling a sample from the cherry rye barrel for whoever wants to try and help.
Mine is right next to yours, Josh, near the entrance. I have a ton of stuff to do on Saturday, but I'll text you in the morning and I'll try and swing by and help.
We are trying to figure out which beers we are going to use for the National Homebrewers Conference. Wanted to see if the first 5 gallons from this project could be donated to CHAOS to be served to the people who attend the conference.
Let me know your thoughts ASAP, trying to let them know today the beers we are serving.
She is ready to come out. Next Saturday 7/18 is the day. Be at the brew house around 10am to help. If you do not plan on coming to help me with your beer please leave a sanitized vessel for me.
I'll be there at 10 to help. I'll try and stay as long as I can to help clean the ferm room. Chuck is right, it is as packed as I've ever seen it. Might want to wait till people move some stuff out

My carboy is on the floor, to the left, as you walk in.

Pete's and mine are on the floor towards the back. I'll stop in and make sure the tags are still on.
Thanks for the updates.

Yeah, thanks for taking care of that, Josh!

I am going to be selfish with this batch and not donate. The shares will be lower with this barrel most likly 3.5-4 gallons each already.
If anyone wants to donate theirs let ken know.
I will be tasting it on saturday to make sure but itll most likly be coming out of the barrel on 5/30/2015. Or a saturday or 2 after that.
I wasn't going to do it if one person objected, because I knew how expensive the recipe was and the size of the barrel.
Ken, Do we have a running list of the beers we are bringing? I didn't see a thread on the topic.
I would be against it as well, so Josh doesn't look like such an ogre.
Nancy...this is just for the seminar portion of NHC. Chuck is heading up the committee regarding the other beers for Club Night.
FYI this will most likly come out of the barrel in mid July. Ill test it one last time in a few weeks and make plans to empty asap after that.
