Help! Need a seasoned hand to help me make my first batch of brew.

Getting into the beer making mode.  Rules of the club say newbies can't do it by themselves in the big brew room at Chaos.  I'd prefer to schedule something early afternoon during the week but realize that may not be practical.  If anybody's interested in playing mentor could you let me know and also clue me to the hours you might be available.  Many thanks.
