Scented Soap

I keep seeing this on the sink and am almost afraid to ask, but what is being cleaned with it? I can't think of anything in the brewhouse, including flesh, that should be cleaned with peppermint or any kind of scented soap.

Haha!  Yes, so you feel good paying an extra $3.00. While your beer smells like peppermint....

I don't know...it's not

I don't know...it's not really appropriate for anything other than hands.  On a side note, I happen to use that soap at home as I am extemely allergic to propylene glycol, which tends to hide in ingredient lists as "fragrance" and other ambiguous terms.  If someone else in the club is in a similar situation and is searching for some sort of safe soap to use, I keep a bottle of 7th Generation Free and Clear in my supply box on my shelf space, it's totally safe hippy soap free of all dyes and scents and anything else that might irritate precious princess skin like mine.  I would be more than willing to allow someone else to use it if they need...once or twice.  anymore than that and I will direct them to the aisle in target where I purchased it, so that they may do the same.

Icehouse bought a thing of

Icehouse bought a thing of regular soap last month and it disappeared almost instantly. If someone can bring some tomorrow that would be great. If not, I will get some Sunday when I brew.

If we make up a big tub of

If we make up a big tub of PBW when brewing/bottling/kegging, you can scoop up a pitcher of that to use when washing items, too.

That's what I do when brewing

That's what I do when brewing, just make a pot of PBW for cleaning.

The dish soap Icehouse bought is behind the flag. I was afraid people would use it on the metal pots and mash tuns, so took it off the sink.
