It's that time of year again...where we pretend to be Santa, drink ludicrously good craft beer, eat delicious tacos, and collect a massive amount of toys for children in need. Yes, it's almost time for the Thrid Annual CHAOS Holiday Party/Bottle Share!
What: CHAOS Holiday Party, Toys for Tots, Secret Santa & Bottle Share!!!

Toys for Tots Goal: 75 Toys
There are really three parts to this party...
- Holiday Party - We come together to celebrate an amazing 2015, bring beers to share, and feast on tacos.
- We collect Toys for Tots in partnership with Goose Island Clyborn. The more Toys we collect on the night on December 5th, the rarer the beer is opened up for sharing. We have some generous members who offer up really exclusive and hard to find beers each year.

Yep, members only!
(1) We want a "massive amount of toys" but we're limiting attendance?
(2) The event listing on our site needs to be explicit that it's members only. Rookie mistake there: if it's members-only, listings need to specify.

No. When we say "members only" it means "paying members only." So, Friend, Apprentice, Brewer, Intro Brewer, Trial.

Yes, it's too heavy for one person to move, and we have limited storage... A new portable jockey box has been requested in our meetings and it's on our radar to update for the club. See meeting notes for November if you want more information on it... Or if someone wants to offer to help build the new jockey box for the club and take the lead on that, that would be great too!
Who is bringing the toys over to a Toys for Tots drive location? I was at the Brewhouse yesterday and the toys are still there. We need someone with a car to drop them off in the next 2 days. Who can help or is planning on doing this?
If no one can or has planned on picking up the toys for a drop. I'll ask my sister with a car to help me tomorrow night, Tuesday Dec. 22 and take them to a drop location. Thanks, Nancy

I'll be swinging by the brew house either tonight or tomorrow and dropping the toys off at Goose Island Clybourn. I haven't been back to the brew house since the Holiday Party and made the assumption I was going to have time the week after. Rest assured the kids will have their toys!
