Hey what is the protocol for Tuesday Brewsday grain orders? Should I put it on my credit card and ask for re-imbursement? Or is there a club credit card holder I should talk to?
What - we can't have a productive discussion about sack management? Because, if all your sacks fit in my car, the club will save on shipping and we will all have fresh sacks even sooner.
Just joined this month and I put in for a sack of canadian 2-row. What's the protocol on picking it up and everything? I used the link provided and put in my credit card info and everything so I assume it's paid for, do I just pick it up from the club when it arrives?
Adam, to answer your question, since Mark picks up the grain we don't have delivery charges. Also, the people who run group buys add an extra charge so they can make some money off the buy. We don't do that.
To everyone who took part in this group buy: make sure you pick up your grain by Friday! Cleaning and setup for Stout Night will be a lot easier all of that out of the way.
There's still a tom of grain from the group buy. Please pick up your grain by Friday at 2:00. After that we will be in party mode and can't guarantee your grain will remain inside the brew house.
I could use some base grain, too.
Easy enough - Jan 2016 buy open. Order away.

Excellent.

Even easier - just list it here and I add it to the order.
Ok, let's start with 2 sacks of Breiss 2 row for Tuesday Brewsday. Should be enough grain to last for 6 months.
Thanks Mark!
Any objection to subing Canada Malting? The paper bags don't hold up so well in the brew house.
That's fine.
Since many members have asked about groupbuys but are not seeing this on the front page, BUMP.
Thanks for getting this going, Mark!
You've only got till Friday night to order, and we've only got half a pallet! Get cracking! https://www.chaosbrewclub.net/groupbuy/6
Why only until Friday evening?
Well, It's been open for the last two weeks. So if we don't fill a palet, I will pick it up.
I plan to order a sack of grain on Friday, so there will be at least one more.
I paln to order a sack on Friday as well.
Wow this couldn't have come at a better time. Need maris otter and Pils so I'll be adding my two sacks as well
Just added 4 sacks myself.
I can't believe this conversation hasn't went south by now

I guess I better not order then, because there's no way my sack's fitting in your car.
I should buy some backup sacks in case my current sacks get damaged due to Mark's poor handling.
Mark, better get an air freshener, cause my sack is going to be Aromatic.
You all make me so proud. I knew we were better then that!
Last day to get your grains in!
Hey everyone,
Just joined this month and I put in for a sack of canadian 2-row. What's the protocol on picking it up and everything? I used the link provided and put in my credit card info and everything so I assume it's paid for, do I just pick it up from the club when it arrives?
Yep! Mark will put the order in and tell us when it's at the Brewhouse.
Just curious, where do we get this grain from and how to we get such cheap prices?
The order went in today to Mid Country. Shoud be prepapred tomorrow with Friday or Monday delivery.
Order has been confirmed.
GRAIN HAS BEEN DELIVERED.
Ready for pick up!
Thanks, Mark!
Awesome, thanks Mark!

Between this and my hop bulk buys coming through, looks like enough grain and hops for close to 20 IPAs.
Hide yo' keezers, hide yo' picnic taps because the only thing that's getting tapped at the brewhouse for the next 6 months is gonna be IPAs.
Hopefully all the Pils and wheat I got for my sour plan 2016 doesn't infect all yer IPAs. Don't forget to add flour for the NE haze.
P.S. James - Omega is releasing Bayern Lager (OYL-114) which is the Augustiner strain.

I will get mine later this week - I didn't have any room in my car today.
There's still a tom of grain from the group buy. Please pick up your grain by Friday at 2:00. After that we will be in party mode and can't guarantee your grain will remain inside the brew house.
I will be by Friday ~5 pm to pick up my grain.
umm can we do another group buy ? I missed this one.
I'll open one up first week of Feb.
awesomeness, thanks Mark.
I guess it's another sack of Pearl then...
bump. Mark time to open up a second group buy !
hell yeah. I just got a bourbon barrel, and 15 gallons of BCBS clone is going to take 80+lb of grain.
