Hi Chaos! I can't believe the bus trip is next weekend. I've been busy revamping the trip and trying to keep my finger on the pulse of the craft beer scene in Chicago. Here is the new itinerary for next Saturday, March 12th;
11am, leave the brewhouse. 2-3:30 at Octopi Brewery. An old member Adam, is a partner there. It is a contract brewer, but they do make their own beer, as well. We normally eat at our first stop and there is a pizza place that was recommended, Zoe's, that we'll be ordering from. I will get the order together and get money from everyone on the bus, so please bring some cash for the food. 4-5 Parched Eagle. This is a pretty new brewery opened by a home brewer, Jim, who sounds like an awesome guy. They actually have another big group coming at that time, so it should be a ton of fun. 5:30-6:30 One Barrel. I had really good conversations with the brewer and manager and they are great people. They have food some of us get hungry and they will hold some tables for us. I even think the brewer is coming in to have a pint with us. All these breweries are close to each other and we definitely will be on the road no later than 6:30 to come back home (Chaos) by 9pm. There may be tour options at Octopi and One Barrel, but it'll be for who wants it.

This covers the estimated $150 for gas, $300 for tip, and leaves me with $63 to get snacks, water, and cups. Please BYOB for the bus, we're allowed to drink on it. We're tipping so much this time because Reggie's isn't charging us for the bus rental, due to the mess up last time. I would prefer you get this to me before the trip (Chase quickpay john_gammal@yahoo.com). I'll also be at the Gino's East beer release Tuesday, brewing Wednesday, and at the Goose Island home brew thing on Thursday. Plenty of time to pay me. Please don't bail now that we have a set price, it will be a major pain in the ass!
Eli headed up a raffle on our first trip that was a ton of fun. I would be willing to donate a bottle or two to the raffle. If this sounds like fun, please let me know if you're willing to donate a bottle or something and we can have a raffle on this one, as well.

And quick reminder: bring your phone charger and/or backup battery. Taking photos and jumping between cell towers all day will drain your phone quick, and we all needed a top-up by the time we got to the last brewery last time.
